N came to see me for the extreme itching and pain on her very red hands. N felt as if she had electric shocks running through her. She was feeling low in spirits and was
anxious and "on edge" N was sleep deprived and overwhelmed at times. She felt her body was working against her.
Together we worked for 3 sessions tracing her journey from babyhood to the present day - mapping out her timeline of events, griefs, sadnesses and hurts. We then worked on childhood healing, parts therapy, examining her thought patterns beliefs and behaviours from the paswe then set about refiling them or deleting them. N was able to explore old thought patterns such as "not good enough" "not as clever as my siblings" "feeling abandoned" "Grief" "scared" "stuck" "stifled" "not feeling whole self" "not authentic" Taking the time to examine these feelings and re filing them or deleting them had a profound healing affect for N. She was able to reassess how she felt about herself as a child and later as a resourcesful single mum - working for her family against the odds and succeeding. N was able to look at herself objectively at this period in her life and truly see how wonderfully she had dealt with difficult situations annd how strong and resourceful she actually was. Something she had not realised about herself. She felt proud of her own strength after this session.
N is now experiencing good sleep, no pain and reduced itching which is now in patches rather than all over her body. No more electric shocks. She is experiencing more authentic feelings of self and able to ask to get her needs met. She is doing more of what makes her happy and will continue on this journey of self appreciation and discovery.
