In sessions with my clients we often put all their life experiences, good and bad on a "washing line" to take in the sun, the rain and the air so that they can acknowledge and see clearly what is there, if it still serves them or if its time for certain memories and experiences to be folded and put away, clean and aired. Its very therapeutic. A lovely client Jane send me a collection of poems she knew I would like because of this imagery. I love washing! I love fresh starts, I love fresh sheets, I love new beginnings.
