What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a state of daydream that we go into many times of day. It allows us to rest, be creative, think of solutions and new ideas. It makes sense to harness that power we have within ourselves to problem solve and change that which no longer serves us or is outdated. Hypnotherapy is gentle but effective in getting to the heart of a problem or positive behaviour change.
My Approach: In my sessions, there's no judgement or picking over old wounds, there is however plenty of room for laughter, joy, tears, relief, release, forgiveness, compassion, progress, reframing, healing, and a moving forward.

My Background: My family have practiced Hypnotherapy for many years. Along with over 40 years of learning and practice, my specialities are also shaped by lived life experience as a breast cancer sufferer, dementia daughter, disability champion, and mum to 3 daughters, one of whom is severely disabled. I bring a unique wealth of life experiences, empathy, and understanding to my practice Hypnotherapy with Vicky Nicolson-James.
